Wait for what you want! The new BYD Han exposure comes standard with variable damping suspension?
Recently, some media revealed that BYD’s Han EV will launch 2023 Genesis models in the near future, and the new car is expected to be listed in early March.
As a modified model, the new car will be upgraded in four aspects: appearance, comfort, chassis performance and intelligence. It is expected that the overall product strength will be improved.
In terms of appearance, the new car will be consistent with the current models in general design. Bright chrome trim strips connected with the narrow and sharp headlights on both sides are common designs of many BYD models, which create a lot of simple atmosphere with the segmented lower enclosure with lower ventilation grille and air guide and the slender and low front.
At the same time, the 506/605km version of the Han EV model that is currently on sale will be upgraded to the Genesis version, and the appearance of the overall car system will remain unified. In addition, the new car will also add a brand-new glacier blue color scheme, and the visual experience will be more advanced.
In terms of interior, the new car will also continue the design layout of the current model. The new car will be equipped with an embracing cockpit design, a dual-frame multi-function steering wheel, an electronic gear lever of "Heart of the Dragon Engine", a 12.3-inch full LCD instrument and a rotatable 15.6-inch suspended central control panel, which is decorated with piano paint trim panels and chrome trim strips. The overall texture is good for many luxury brands of the same level.
In terms of configuration, the new car will be equipped with ambient light, heat pump air conditioner, 5G car, Apple NFC car key, etc. Some models will also upgrade the BSD blind spot monitoring system and other functional configurations, while the flagship model will add steering wheel heating, and the distinguished model will add Dana audio and other configurations.
In terms of power, it is expected that the new car will remain unchanged, and it will provide single-motor front drive and front and rear dual-motor four-wheel drive options. As a reference, the maximum output power of the single-motor model of the current model is 163/180kW, the comprehensive output power of the dual-motor model is 380kW, and the zero-hundred acceleration takes only 3.9 seconds.
In terms of endurance, the new car is equipped with a Ferrous lithium phosphate blade battery pack with a capacity of 64.8/76.9/85.4kWh. The cruising range is 506km, 605km, 610km and 715km respectively, which allows many users to choose according to their own needs and meets the needs of most consumers for medium and long-distance travel.
In addition, in terms of chassis configuration, the new car will also come standard with aluminum alloy suspension, the two-wheel drive version will come standard with FSD variable damping suspension, and the flagship model will also provide DiSus-C intelligent electronic control active suspension configuration options.
There are many substantial improvements in the configuration of the new model after this change, which will also make its comprehensive products more powerful in by going up one flight of stairs, and its cost performance is much higher than that of the old model. If friends have the idea of considering starting, they may wish to wait until the new model is listed before making a choice.
