Jiangxi: Protecting Poyang Lake Ecological Environment from Seven Aspects
Jiangxi Province issued the "Three-year Action Plan for Comprehensive Improvement of Poyang Lake Ecological Environment (2018-2020)", focusing on seven key tasks: industrial pollution prevention, water pollution control, drinking water source protection, comprehensive improvement of urban and rural environment, agricultural non-point source pollution control, comprehensive improvement of coastline, ecological protection and restoration. By 2020, the chemical oxygen demand and ammonia nitrogen emissions in the province will be reduced by 4.3% and 3.8% respectively compared with 2015.
Guangdong: launching a three-year action plan for solid waste pollution prevention and control.
The Three-year Action Plan of Guangdong Provincial Environmental Protection Department on the Prevention and Control of Solid Waste Pollution (2018-2020) was recently issued and implemented.
