Focus interview: innovation empowers the future of "digital intelligence"
Cctv news(Focus Interview): Speaking of big data, everyone is no stranger. At present, online shopping, mobile payment, smart transportation, epidemic prevention and control are all inseparable from the support of big data, which has been integrated into all aspects of our lives. There is a metaphor that data is the oil of the Internet economy. On May 28th, 2021 China International Big Data Industry Expo ended in Guiyang. The Expo was founded in 2015 and officially upgraded to a national-level Expo in 2017. Now it has become the vane of big data development and an international and professional platform. So what are the new features, new achievements and new applications of this year’s Digital Expo?
This year’s Digital Expo will focus on the "change" and "new" brought by big data with the theme of "changing intelligence and bringing new things". Due to the need of epidemic prevention and control, this year’s Expo has adopted the "online+offline" exhibition mode. The 40,000-square-meter offline exhibition area includes four theme pavilions, namely, the Frontier Technology Pavilion, the Smart Industry Pavilion, the International Complex Pavilion and the Digital Application Pavilion, to showcase new technologies, new products, new solutions and new applications of big data and the changes that big data has brought to people’s lives.
For exhibitors who can’t make it to the site, they can display their brand features and star exhibits with videos, pictures, documents and other information through the online display platform, and communicate with guests and professionals from all over the world online. The offline audience adopts the reservation system and visits at different peaks.
In the artificial intelligence exhibition area of the Expo, all kinds of robots are very attractive. The 5G remote ultrasonic robot can complete the whole process of remote ultrasonic diagnosis, and the new infrastructure, smart future and new experience based on 5G network have also become the focus of attention. The technology company exhibited a helmet monitoring system based on 5G network, artificial intelligence and big data technology. As long as you enter the designated area, the system will automatically identify whether you are wearing a safety helmet and give an early warning.
New products and applications of big data have also become more accessible in life. In the Smart Industry Pavilion, the smart system of an enterprise can collect the physical signs data of human body during sleep for a long time, process and analyze the data, and give personal health guidance programs. At present, this enterprise has cooperated with some old-age care institutions to explore a new model of smart old-age care.
With the empowerment of big data, cities become smarter. In this year’s Digital Application Pavilion of Digital Expo, this exhibitor from Shanghai brought new applications of big data. On this system, big data technology focuses on the key areas of Shanghai’s urban management and operation. The establishment of intelligent model can comprehensively monitor the overall state of urban water supply system, and send out warnings and reminders in time when problems are found.
In addition to the water system, the brain of the city has begun to predict in advance the fields of transportation, fire safety and smart parking.
Guizhou, the host of the Expo, is an important pioneer area for China to implement the big data strategy. Since the establishment of the National Big Data Comprehensive Experimental Zone in Guizhou in 2016, new achievements have emerged in the development and application of big data in the fields of economy, society and people’s livelihood. At this year’s Expo, the digital government work platform was displayed in the exhibition hall of Guizhou on the Cloud, which broke the data barrier and brought new changes to people’s lives through data exchange and sharing among different departments. At present, in the mobile terminal run by Guizhou Netcom, the government service functions of different departments are classified together.
The technical application of the smooth flow of data not only makes people run less wrong roads, but also shows their talents in consolidating the achievements of poverty alleviation. Heiyan Village, jiangkou county, Tongren City, used to be a second-class poverty-stricken village, but now it has been lifted out of poverty. Some time ago, Guizhou Poverty Alleviation Cloud Big Data System sent monitoring and early warning information to Heiyan Village: More than half a month ago, a villager named Long had heart surgery in the Municipal People’s Hospital, and the village cadres needed to verify the situation as soon as possible. In the morning, the poverty alleviation cadres came to the villager’s home.
After confirming that the medical expenses and other related expenses did not pose a risk of returning to poverty for this family, Hu Yinxi logged the verification results into Guizhou Poverty Alleviation Cloud System.
Such a big data monitoring system has strict authority settings and shields personal sensitive information, mainly monitoring the data of unexpected situations that have the risk of returning to poverty in production and life. At present, Guizhou Province has included groups such as unstable poverty-stricken households and marginal households in the scope of big data monitoring. If there is a risk of returning to poverty or causing poverty, it will accurately analyze the reasons and eliminate the risks through effective measures.
This year is a crucial year for consolidating and expanding the achievements of poverty alleviation and effectively connecting with rural revitalization. After several years of development, big data technology has been applied in rural revitalization. Therefore, this year’s Digital Expo has also set up a section called "Big Data Helps Rural Revitalization". From the aspects of big data and rural environmental governance, rural e-commerce, tourism and agricultural industry integration, we will demonstrate and explore big data to empower rural revitalization.
The key to rural revitalization is to do a good job in industry. The "pepper cloud" on display at a booth caught the attention of reporters. On the "Pepper Cloud" platform, the data of the whole industrial chain, such as planting process, agricultural science and technology, meteorology, soil, humidity, landform and detection, are integrated, and big data technology is used to promote standardization for scattered farmers.
The "Pepper Cloud" platform, which breaks the problem of data collection and promotes standardized planting, relies on smart phones and big data model algorithms to insert wisdom wings for small peppers in mountainous areas. In Taiping Village, Zheng ‘an County, Guizhou Province, the 500-acre pepper planted by villager Wan Hong grew well, but weeds grew in the field and the pepper branches grew to the length of pruning. Wanhong, who was at home at this time, received a reminder from the agronomist on the platform on her mobile phone.
In a short time, in addition to a large area of weeding in wanhong’s pepper field, he quickly took out his mobile phone and took a few photos of the on-site completion and uploaded them to the "cloud platform" of the mobile phone.
On the "Chili Cloud" platform, whether the work is qualified or not is calculated by the data brain.
In addition to showing the latest applications of various innovative technologies based on big data in economic and social fields, the number fair has also become a new platform for the competition and development of innovative technologies. At this Expo, the announcement of the results of the selection of leading scientific and technological achievements awards attracted much attention. Among the 49 award-winning projects finally selected, seven projects including the research and application of bus-level data center network technology won the Black Science and Technology Award.
"The number of wisdom changes, and things are new." After seven years of development, the Expo has not only become a platform for the display and exchange of innovative technologies, but also built a bridge for the integration of China’s big data industry with the world and become an important platform for attracting foreign investment.
Big data has been widely used in China’s economic and social development, and the pattern of rapid development of big data industry has basically taken shape, but it still faces many challenges in data open sharing, core technology breakthrough and big data-driven development. The Expo provides a platform for innovation, integration and communication to meet these challenges. For the development of big data that has become a national strategy, activating, mining and applying big data and exploring more new technologies, new formats and new models can generate greater value and empower high-quality development.
